Fanola Cox Upton, 87, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late David Cox and Norma Osborne Cox, was born on September 2, 1935 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Green Hill Rehab and Care Center.
Fanola had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker, and secretary along with many other endeavors. Fanola was also a member of the Green County Arts Council.
She united in marriage to Harold Leon Upton on May 15, 1956 and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Anne Upton Durham on October 10, 2020; a brother, Crawford Cox; and six sisters: Mildred Coffey, Dorothy Givens, Nellie Downey, Ramona Livesay, Sally Shuffett, and Mary Cox.
