Rafael Ybarra of Morris, 72, of Illinois, son of the late Ysidro Ybarra and Rafaela Castillo Ybarra, was born on December 12, 1950 in La Grulla, Texas. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at his daughter’s residence in Greensburg, KY.

He was of the Catholic faith and retired from Ryder Systems. Mr. Ybarra was well-known for his random acts of kindness that touched the lives of many.

1 daughter & son-in-law: Sylvia & Mitchell Curry of Greensburg

5 grandchildren: Evan Curry, Dylan Curry, Madelyn Curry, Brittany Curry and Amber Curry

A host of other relatives and friends

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Roel Ybarra, and one sister, Flora Warner.
