Dale Gorley, 59, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Cecil Lawton Gorley and Bonnie Mae Arnold Gorley, was born April 10, 1964 in Jefferson County, KY. He died at 6:00 A.M. on Sunday, July 16, 2023 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Dale was an employee of Murakami Manufacturing for 10 years and the Taylor County Fire Department for 24 years, having also previously worked at the Plastic Products Company in Lebanon for 27 years. He was also a crew chief with DeSpain Motor Sports for over 20 years, something he loved more than anything and was proud of. Dale was known as a strong, courageous and loving husband, dad and grandfather and was always quick to help others. He also was skilled in knowing how to fix anything that his kids ever asked for.

4 four sons & 1 daughter: Clint Barnett of Campbellsville, Jordan Gorley & wife Sasha of Harrodsburg, Tatum-Michael Gorley & wife Ariel of Calvary, Blair Gorley & wife Emily of Nicholasville and Lexis Gorley & significant other Shalijah Johnson of Bradfordsville

7 grandchildren: Lawton Gorley, Lilly Gorley, Heidi Gorley, Saylor Gorley, Knox Gorley, Landon Gonzalez and Alena Doughty

Sister-in-law: Lisa Bryant & husband Tim of North Carolina

1 niece & 2 nephews: Tabatha Bryant, Jacob Bryant & wife Lindsey and Jonathan Bryant

1 aunt & uncle: Rosie Sullivan, and Norman Sullivan & wife Bonnie

Special family friend: Arlene Cordero

Dale was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Lula Mae Dooley on December 17, 2020.
