Richard Matthew “Rick” Deluca, 62, of Greensburg, KY, the son of the late Frances Roy Deluca and Jean Deluca of Bardstown, KY was born on November 5, 1960 in Louisville, KY and departed this life on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at his home.
Rick was a self-employed Air Freight Trucker. He had served his country honorably in the United States Army as a member of the 101st Airborne. Rick enjoyed hunting, shooting, playing pool and was a great Husband and Dad.

His mother: Jean Deluca and companion James Everett of Bardstown
2 sons: Richard Matthew Deluca, Jr. and wife Christina of Louisville and Robert John “Bob” Deluca & wife Mary of Greensburg
2 brothers & 1 sister: Johnny Watson and Donny Watson & wife Karen of Louisville, and Rhonda Broderick & husband Patrick of Taylorsville
1 granddaughter: Violet Sue Deluca
Special friend: Anthony Tameling
Brother-in-law: Donald Sibbald
Besides his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Peter Deluca
The family chose cremation and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11:00amET at the Lebanon National Cemetery with full military honors.
Memorials are suggested to be donations to KODA (Kentucky Organ Donors Association).
