John Alvin “Johnny” Humphress, Jr., 78, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late John Alvin Humphress and Virginia Olene White Humphress, was born January 27, 1945 and died Thursday, June 15, 2023 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Christian Church. John was the former owner of Action Sign Company.

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: John Humphress, III & his significant other, Jeannie Clark of Campbellsville and Clifton Humphress & wife Denise of Denver, Colorado

5 grandchildren: Tyler Humphress, Henry Smith, Alex Humphress, Miles Humphress and Mia Humphress

5 great-grandchildren

1 brother: Donald Humphress & wife Charlotte of Campbellsville

2 sisters: Deloris Underwood of Hodgenville and Kathleen Campos & husband Paul of California

Several nieces & nephews 

Many other relatives & friends

John was also preceded in death by four brothers: Jolly Humphress, Hancel Humphress, Bobby Shaw and Guy Humphress.
