Richard Dale Wilson Sr., 66, of Campbellsville, KY, son of George A. Wilson Sr. and the late Joan E. Rives Wilson, was born March 21, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN and departed this life on Friday, June 16, 2023 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Vineyard Church in Campbellsville. He loved being Santa for the local Toys for Kids program and was also involved in St. Baldricks charity events. He received a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from Campbellsville University. He loved photography and working with The Russell Creek Review.

6 children: Jennifer Truax of New York, Michelle Wilson of Indiana, Brandy Cooper, Meagan Pike, Cody Borders and Nikkita Wilson all of Campbellsville

4 brothers & 3 sisters: George A. Wilson, Jr. of Mesa, AZ, Michael W. Wilson, Sr. of Noblesville, IN, Stephen L. Wilson Sr. of Fountain Hills, AZ, Christina L. Dodds of Ormond Beach, FL, David P. Wilson of Whiteland, IN, Patricia A. McMenamin of Evans, GA, and Julie L. Covert of Indianapolis, IN

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a son: Richard D. Wilson, Jr. 

The family chose cremation and a Celebration of Life service will be at The Vineyard Church in Campbellsville on July 1, 2023 at 1:00pmET.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in the form of donations to the Campbellsville Toys for Kids Program. Those can be made by clicking the "Donations" tab at the top of this obituary.
