Bobby Joe Turner, 76, of Glasgow, KY formerly of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Jack Wood Turner and Flora Hazel Whitlow Turner, was born on April 22, 1947 in Hart County, KY and departed this life peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green.
Mr. Turner had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Monroe Baptist Church. He was a lifelong farmer and a CNA at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital for 42 years.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 41 years, Glenda Carolyn White Turner on May 16, 2010 having united in marriage on July 16, 1969.

5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren
1 brother & 2 sisters: Denzil Ray Turner and Marie Holley of Hart County and Ernestine Lewellyn of Illinois

Visitation: Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
The family asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or to Hospice of Southern Kentucky which can be made at the funeral home.
