Wilburn Wade Hunter, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Jim and Antha Mae (Napier) Hunter, was born March 27, 1943 in Wayne County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Campbellsville at Taylor Regional Hospital.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Life Church of God of Holiness in Campbellsville and was a former railroad worker and a funeral home assistant. He enjoyed fishing, floral designing, landscaping and being outdoors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Sterling, Danny and James Hunter.

4 children: Wayne Hunter and Bernard Hunter both of Monticello, KY, Vondra Payne & husband Timmy of Bardstown, KY and Jalandra Michelle Mitchell & husband Robert of Nashville, TN

1 brother & 5 sisters: Cecil Garth, Lena Allen, Mary Garrett, Vida Hunter and Margie Garth all of Monticello, KY, Martha Chaney of Somerset, KY and Dorothy Garth of Lexington, KY

3 grandchildren: Lamar Payne & wife Trenae, Andre Payne and Caleb Payne

Funeral Service: Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in the Sanctuary of the New Life Church of God, 626 E. Broadway in Campbellsville with Bishop William Paul Hardin officiating

interment: Crown Hill Cemetery 

Visitation: Thursday after 11:30 A.M. at the church
