Violet Lucille Bale Graham, 101, Green County, KY


Violet Lucille Bale Graham, 101, of Green County, KY, a daughter of the late Adlai Bryan Bale and Lily Jones Bale, was born on February 20, 1922 in Larue County, KY and passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 in Versailles, KY.

 

Mrs. Graham had made a profession of faith in Christ and was the oldest member of Summersville Baptist Church. She was a housewife and farmer, while she also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sewing. She was a member of the W.M.U. Homemakers, and was also a Dairyman Inc. member.

 

She was united in marriage on October 1, 1939 to Doyle Graham, who preceded her in death on October 6, 2004.

 

SURVIVORS:

2 daughters & sons-in-law: Martha & Randy Sullivan of Greensburg and Nancy Doylene & Bill McGregor of Versailles

2 sons-in-law: Gary Landis of Greensburg and Don Dobson of Georgetown

10 grandchildren: Rhea & Leisa Dobson, Allen & Angie Dobson, Karen & Josh Zamora, Nicki Sullivan, Tressie & David Hird, Eric & Rachel Landis, Danea & Shawn Rogers, Alicea & Will Boleyn, Jill & Tyler Singer, and Nick McGregor

16 great grandchildren: Kaelyn & James Broderic, Zoe & Niamh Zamora, Jacob & Marthe Zamora, Casey & Christian Baya, Cara Chandler, Hadley Hird, Mary Belle Landis, Violet Landis, Graham Landis, Charlotte Rogers, Liam Rogers, Enoch Boleyn, Alice Boleyn, Abraham Boelyn, Rhett Singer, and Reese Singer

1 great-great grandchild: Langston Bale

3 nephews: Steve Bale, Craig Bale, & Paul Bale

Brother & sister-in-law: Bobby & Laverne Bale

 

Ms. Graham was also preceded in death by two daughters: Mary Linda Graham Landis, Venona Graham Dobson; a great grandson, Chase Alexander Whatley; and an infant brother, Adlai Gordon Bale.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Eaton and Bro. Mike Akrige officiating

 

Burial: Green County Memory Gardens

 

Visitation: Tuesday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Wednesday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home

 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
