Thomas E. Walters, 78, of the Levelwood community passed from this life on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at his home following an extended illness. He was born on December 13, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Finley B. and Marjorie Jean (Bogan) Walters.
Mr. Walters was of the Christian faith. He was a retired heavy-duty diesel mechanic. Mr. Walters was a veteran, having served his country honorably in the United States Navy, and was a lifetime member of the Petaluma, CA VFW Post 1929.

His wife of 55 years: Jeanne Marie (Chiantelli) Walters
3 children: Marjorie Lee Sabino & husband Eric of Hodgenville, Cherie Marie Altman & husband Timothy of Campbellsville, and Thomas M. Walters & wife Kristen of Campbellsville
Sister-in-law: Fran Walters of Bacaville, CA
7 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, & 12 step-great-grandchildren
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by three siblings: Janice Jalowsky, Robert B. Walters, and Carol Jalowsky.
A private graveside service will be conducted at the Flying W. Cemetery in Larue County.
