Shirley Ann Gabehart, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Clarence and Flossie (Gribbins) Whitehouse, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab facility after an extended illness. She was born in Bradfordsville on July 17, 1937.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Christian Church. Mrs. Gabehart retired from Lee’s Famous Recipe following 47 years of service.

She united in marriage to James Alden Gabehart and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was also preceded in death by three siblings: Imogene Holland, William “Fuzzy” Whitehouse, and L.C. Whitehouse.

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Gregory L. Gabehart of Indiana and Jimmy Gabehart (Sherry) of Campbellsville

2 chosen children: J. Paul and Dave Newton of Campbellsville

4 grandchildren: Lyndsay Seaton of Indiana, Chris Gabehart (Courtney) of Taylorsville, Storm “Bear” Gabehart (Missy) of Versailles, and Patric Gabehart (Angel) of Berea

5 great-grandchildren: Landon, Maddie, Hank, Lacy, and Leah

Funeral Service: Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 1:00 PM at L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. 

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery

Visitation: After 9:00 AM on Tuesday
