Wanda Dell Long, 77, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Aubrey H. Paxton and Nora Dell Franklin Paxton Boone, was born on January 15, 1946 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
She was of the Baptist faith, a self-employed photographer, a substitute schoolteacher for the Green County School system, and worked at Fruit of the Loom for 34 years.
She was united in marriage on November 10, 1962 to Jerry Nell Long, who preceded her in death on December 16, 2020.

6 grandchildren: Dusty Long, Elliott Long, Erin Long, Ashlee Long, Kelsey Zwicker, and Emily Long
7 great-grandchildren: Blatyn, Laidyn, Kyleiah, Jaxon, Hazel, Iris, Wyatt, and Kahlil
1 brother & sister-in-law: Charles and Pat Paxton of North Carolina

Visitation: Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Saturday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Green County Athletic Department, which can be made at the funeral home.
