Marvin Glidewell, 89, passed away in Campbellsville on Monday, April 3, 2023. He was born on October 4th, 1933 in Campbellsville, KY to Porter & Maude (Owens) Glidewell.
A lifelong farmer in Taylor County, Mr. Glidewell was also a skilled printing press operator in his earlier years. Along with farming, he enjoyed watching college basketball (especially when Kentucky was playing) and spending time with his family. He professed his faith in Christ and was a member of God’s Grace Church in Campbellsville.

1 son: Chris (Vickie) Glidewell of Campbellsville
1 grandson: MacKenzie (Neha) Glidewell of Asheville, North Carolina
Sister-in-law: Lura Glidewell of Campbellsville
Several nieces & nephews
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters: Earl Glidewell, Russell Glidewell, Kimble Glidewell, Clarence Glidewell, Margaret Pike, Hazel Bozmer, Jewell Davis, Ruby Blaydes, and Pearl Palmetier.

Funeral Service: Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Trey Strange officiating at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville
Burial: Brookside Cemetery
Visitation: Thursday from 2:00pm-4:00pmET
