Virgil Thomas “V.T.” Altman, 92, of Green County, Kentucky, son of the late Leon Altman and Edna Noe Altman, was born on Tuesday, January 6, 1931 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023 at his home.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of Taylors Chapel Church. Mr. Altman was a farmer, a Korean war veteran having served in the United States Army, and was a member of the American Legion Rod Lowe Post #124.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Euna Mathis Hall Altman on February 8, 1999 having united in marriage on May 10, 1951.

2 brothers & sisters-in-law: Ray & Marilyn Altman of Campbellsville and Robbie & Elaine Altman of Louisville
Brother-in-law: Ray Hall of Campbellsville

Mr. Altman was also preceded in death by a grandson, Payton Altman on August 31, 2015; two sisters: Lib Altman and Sybil Milby; and a brother, Joseph Altman.

Burial: Bennett Cemetery with full military honors conducted by the Marian County Veterans Honor Association Guard
Visitation: Monday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Tuesday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
