Robert “Bobby” Cave Jr., 77, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of Robert Wade Cave and Ina Jewell Knifley Cave, was born May 8, 1945 in Campbellsville, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the University of Louisville Hospital. 

He had professed faith in Christ and was a faithful member of the South Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was retired from Parker-Kalon where he worked as a Tool-Maker. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, being around farm animals and talking with his many friends.

SURVIVORS:

His wife: Gloria Ann Allen Cave, having united in marriage on May 27, 1967

1 son & 1 daughter: Kevin Wade Cave & wife Lisa, and Cecilia Cave all of Campbellsville.

2 grandchildren: Justin Wade Cave of Campbellsville and Lydia Ann Cave Grant and husband Lonnie of Columbia, KY.

1 brother: Kenneth Newcomb & wife Shirley of Campbellsville, KY

He was preceded in death by one sister, Imogene Benningfield.

Funeral Service: Sunday, April 2, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel, 1765 New Columbia Rd. Campbellsville, KY with Bro. John Nguyen officiating

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation: Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home.
