Edna Susan "Sue" Pruitt, 78, Greensburg, KY

 

Edna Susan “Sue” Pruitt, 78, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Bruce and Gladys Susan Berry Pruitt, was born on August 11, 1944 in Green County, KY. She departed this life on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a charter member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church. Ms. Pruitt was a former employee of Jane Todd Crawford Hospital with nearly 55 years of devoted service. She was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, enjoyed making candy and baking treats for her family and friends.

 

SURVIVORS:

Nieces & nephews: Chris & Farrah Pruitt of Greensburg, Mike & Holly Norman and Andrea Norman all of Louisville

Great-nieces & nephews: Sophie Pruitt and Max Pruitt of Greensburg, Brandon & Heather Overbay of Vine Grove, Jacob Norman and Josh Norman of Louisville

Great-great nieces & nephews: Layla Rose, Josh, Zoe Sue and Ben

Special cousin: Roy & Zelda Pruitt of Greensburg

A host of other relatives and friends

 

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Pruitt on April 4, 1985 and a special friend and neighbor, Barbara McAfee.

 

Funeral Service: Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 2:00pmCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Robert Adkins officiating.

 

Visitation: Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Sunday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home

 

Expressions of sympathy are requested to be in the form of donations to South Greensburg Baptist Church or to the Bethlehem Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
