Gilbert Warren, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Bee Warren and Gertie Nelson Warren, was born February 1, 1937 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 1:25 P.M., Wednesday, February 22, 2023 in Elizabethtown.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove Methodist Church. Gilbert was retired from Kentucky Trailers. He loved his family more than anything and enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his garden and making people laugh. He also loved animals especially his fur babies: Princess and Puppy. Eating good food and watching the birds eat at the bird feeders also brought him pleasure.

His wife of 63 years: Nellie Warren of Campbellsville

3 daughters & 1 son: Sheila Massengale of Pine Knott; Lisa Stillwell and Nancy Mings & husband Tony of Campbellsville; Mike Warren & wife Lou Ann of Columbia

7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren

2 sisters: Agnes Gunter and husband Rollin of Franklin, Indiana and Bernice Stillwell of Hodgenville

Sister-in-law: Mary Warren of Green County

Gilbert was also preceded in death by four brothers: Stoy Warren, Roy Warren, Wilburn Warren and Linzie Herman Warren,
