Marilyn Yvonne Kessler Pruitt, 84, Greensburg, KY

 

Marilyn Yvonne Kessler Pruitt, 84, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Colby Wayne and Nona Helen Clark Kessler, was born on June 9, 1938 in Green County, KY. She departed this life on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Campbellsville.

 

Mrs. Pruitt had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg United Methodist Church and Green County Church of Christ. She retired from the People’s Bank with over 40 years of service. She was a member and Past President of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Rod Lowe Unit 124, and a former member of the Green County Fair Board.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Dallas Pruitt, on November 24, 2000; a grandson, Zachary Taylor Eastham; her stepmother, Beatrice Allen Kessler; three brothers: James Donald Kessler, Michael Wayne Kessler and Lionel Harry Kessler; sister-in-law, Madean Judd; brother-in-law, J.D. Pruitt; and a step-brother, Jessie Allen & wife Ernestine.

 

SURVIVORS:

1 son: Michael Wayne Pruitt of Greensburg

1 daughter & son-in-law: LaDonna Jean Pruitt Eastham & husband Robbie of Campbellsville

4 grandchildren: Colby Mase Eastham, Jordan Chase Eastham, Alexander Clark Eastham and Allen Tyler Matney

1 great-grandchild: Arsissia Rose Matney

4 sisters-in-law: Brenda Kessler, Betty Pruitt McFelia and Mary Catherine Pruitt all of Greensburg and Becky Judd Kessler of Bowling Green

2 special friends: Sally Matney and Amanda Matney

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends



Funeral Service: Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 1:00pmCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Dale Curry, Bro. Todd Young and Evangelist Danny McCain officiating

 

Burial: Greensburg Cemetery

 

Visitation: Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 5:00pm-9:00pmCT and Thursday, February 16, 2023 after 7:00amCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home


Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to the Missy’s H.E.A.R.T. Organization, which can be made at the funeral home.
