JoAnn Young Morgan, 74, of Edmonton, KY, formerly of Albany, Ky passed away Saturday, January 31, 2023 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY. She was born on Tuesday, May 4, 1948 in Clinton County, KY, the daughter of Charlie and Mary (Looper) Young.
She was a Christian woman of the Baptist faith, member of the Pink Ridge Baptist Church in Edmonton, Kentucky, a cook for The Lighthouse Restaurant in Sulphur Well, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Franklin Morgan, whom she wed on Saturday, July 9, 1966, 5 sisters: Janie Messner, Gertie (Craig) Cummings, Ruth Stockton, Clara (Mills), Sue Young; and a brother, Andrew Young.
