George Estel Gray, 92, of Campbellsville, KY, a son of the late Fred Steven Gray and Mary Oliver Ford Gray, was born January 30, 1930 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 9:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 19, 2023 in Campbellsville.

George professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of TGT after 37 years of service. George was a people person who loved seeing his friends and neighbors in the community and spending time with them as much as he could.

He united in marriage to Louise Overton June 23, 1951 and she preceded him in death on May 6, 2018.  

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Mark Gray of Campbellsville and Jamie Gray & wife Bobbie of Georgetown

4 grandchildren: Troy Gray of Campbellsville, Lindsay Nordin & husband Danny of Nicholasville, Jacob Gray & wife Kiera and Savannah Gray of Georgetown

3 great-grandchildren: Bennett Nordin, Samuel Nordin, and Paisley Gray

Many other relatives & friends

He was also preceded in death by a son, George Kerry Gray October 26, 2009 and nine brothers and sisters with many other relatives and friends.
