Velma Jean Beams, 80 of Louisville, KY passed away Monday, January 16, 2023. She was born on February 21, 1942 in Louisville, KY to Bertha Rice.
In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Allen Beams and two sisters: Betty Miller and Mayme Milby.
Velma enjoyed spending time gardening and loved flowers, especially roses. She was a talented hairdresser and always looked her best with her hair styled and her makeup done. Velma loved food, especially sweets of all kinds. She enjoyed camping with her late husband, Wayne. Most importantly Velma loved her family. She loved spending time with them and enjoyed family gatherings. Velma will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
