George Salem Jones, 83, of Green County, KY, son of the late William F. Jones and Joan Turran Jones, was born on April 21, 1939 in Washington, D.C. and departed this life on Friday, January 13, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Jones had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Sure Foundation Baptist Church. He was a maintenance grounds contractor and a Bluegrass musician. Mr. Jones was also a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army from August 1962 until August 1964.
