Dorothy Christine Shuffett Montgomery, 95, of Louisville, KY (a native of Green County), daughter of the late James Hartwell Shuffett and Ettie Green Mays Shuffett, was born December 15, 1927 in Green County and departed this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Louisville Separate Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, loved working in the yard with her flowers and she also enjoyed sewing.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Albert Montgomery on May 19, 1998 having united in marriage on October 6, 1948.

4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren
