Janet Osborne, 84, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Benjamin Hicks and Essie Faye Hayes Hicks, was born June 24, 1938 in Boone, North Carolina. She died at 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in Greensburg.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. Janet was a devoted Christian wife, mother, and grandmother. She provided childcare for many children when she was younger and enjoyed playing outside and going fishing with them and her grandchildren.

She united in marriage to Darrell Osborne August 10, 1958 and he preceded her in death October 12, 2002.

1 son: Jerry Osborne & wife LaDonna of Campbellsville, KY

1 daughter: Mary Rogers & husband Gary of Campbellsville, KY

3 grandchildren: Jordan Osborne & wife Hayl, Austin Osborne & wife Rachel, and Samantha Ward & husband Kyle, all of Campbellsville, KY

13 great-grandchildren

1 brother: Loyde Hicks & wife Delores of Carrollton, Georgia

1 sister: Ruth Greer & husband Dwight of Knifley, KY

Several nieces & nephews

Many other relatives & friends

She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters: Lewis Hicks, Leona Cable, Bennie Warren, Earlene Bright Holtzclaw and Gertrude Bright.
