Burdis McDonald Burress, 95, of Elkhorn, KY, daughter of the late Granville and Ophilla Tungate McDonald was born June 19, 1927 in Taylor County and departed this life on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.
She professed her faith in Christ and attended Feathersburg First Church of God. She loved gardening, flowers, and just being outside. She was a housewife. Burdis loved eating corn curls and chewing her Tennesse Pride tobacco.
Mrs. Burress united in marriage to Lester Wallace Burress, and he preceded her in death on November 15, 2017.
