Dorene Miller, 90, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Robert L. Dowell and Eunice Rea Rogers Dowell, was born March 29, 1932 in Adair County, KY. She died at 2:53 A.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church. Dorene was a bookkeeper with Taylor County RECC after 37 years of service. 

She united in marriage to Dale Miller March 22, 1953 and he preceded her in death September 19, 2014.

SURVIVORS:

2 daughters: Ann Moss & husband George of Campbellsville and Pattie Hartman & husband Bill of Hanover, Indiana

5 grandchildren: Jeremy Smith & wife Lisa, Jamie Smith & wife Trena, Megan Bell & husband Clay, Grant Bays & wife Abbie of Campbellsville and Amanda Ellington & husband Johnny of Berea

12 great-grandchildren

Several nieces & nephews

Many other relatives & friends

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Linzie Dowell.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Kristy, Karen and Gayle with Hosparus of Green River, as well as Cindy Willar, Lisa Mitchell and Veronica Parker for their time spent caring for Dorene at home.
