Loyce Faye Judd Bloyd, 82, Greensburg, KY

 

Loyce Faye Judd Bloyd, 82, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Howard Ulyssus Judd and Mary Louise McKenty Judd, was born on Friday, September 13, 1940 in Green County and departed this life on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at the Green Hill Manor Rehab and Care Center. 

 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was also retired from Fruit of the Loom, Inc. after 22 years of service.

 

She united in marriage to Verlis Wayne “Shorty” Bloyd on November 25, 1966 who preceded her in death on April 10, 2020. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers & a sister: Daryl Judd, Philip Judd, Clellen Judd and Helen Judd.

 

SURVIVORS:

2 sons & a daughter-in-law: Tony & Tinkie Bloyd of Campbellsville and Todd Bloyd of Greensburg

2 grandchildren: Chynna Bloyd Peake & husband Jared and Chance Bloyd, both of Campbellsville

2 brothers & a sister-in-law: Robert “Bobby’ Judd of Greensburg and Roger & Sheila Judd of the Gabe Community

2 sisters & a brother-in-law: Eleanor Carol Rutan of Indiana and Rhonda & Doug Smith of Campbellsville

A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends.

Funeral Service: Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 1:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Cliffton Sullivan and Bro. Garrett Milby officiating

 

Burial: Bethlehem Cemetery

 

Visitation: Saturday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and after 7:00amCT on Sunday at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home

 

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethlehem Cemetery Fund, Hosparus of Green River or the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
