Owen Matthew DeSpain, 85, of Campbellsville, KY passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022 in Campbellsville. Owen was born on April 5, 1937 in Taylor County, KY to the late Bert DeSpain and Mary Vance DeSpain.

Owen was an employee of Greybeal Aluminum as an installer. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Church of The Nazarene. Owen enjoyed loafing at The Ol’ Mule Store, piddling on the tractor and spending time with family and friends.

10 step-grandchildren & 15 step-great-grandchildren

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Owen DeSpain; 2 step-daughters: Betty Harris and Stacy Chavez; one brother, William “Pete” DeSpain; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. David Young officiating

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation: After 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday
