Eva Pauline Mardis Graves, age 88, departed this life December 5, 2022. She was born September 2, 1934 to the late Owen Mardis and the late Ola Phillips Mardis.
She united in marriage to the late Frank Ingram Graves on September 27, 1962.
She had put her faith in Jesus Christ and was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church in the Bengal Community of Taylor County. She was very active with some of her activities over the years being a Sunday School teacher, Christmas Program leader, Women’s Missionary Union member, on the Hospitality Committee helping with church fellowship meals, coordinating Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and preparing VBS refreshments that included her beloved Kool Aid slush many years.
She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers: James Mardis, Albert Mardis, William “Bill” Mardis and Norman Mardis.

3 daughters & sons-in-law: Marsha & Allen Wood and Anne & Bill Sanders of Campbellsville, KY and Kristi & Kenny Dillingham of New Mexico
2 grandchildren: Jessica Honea of Bardstown, KY and Jordan (Heather) Sanders of Mt. Sterling, KY
8 great-grandchildren: Scott Hall, Blaze Honea, Zach Honea, Noah Durham, Khynleigh Cobb, Arianna Sanders, Olivia Sanders and Camryn Sanders
