Adrain “Odell” Callahan, 89, of the Mannsville Community, the son of the late Bob Callahan and Lottie Herron Callahan, was born November 6, 1933 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 in Campbellsville.

?Odell was of the Jehovah Witness Faith. He retired from the State Hwy Dept. after working 22 years and had farmed his entire life. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, his grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids. He also loved to garden, farm, cut wood, and anything outdoors. He always loved lending a helping hand to his neighbors or anyone in need.

?Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother: Ancil “Tom” Callahan, one sister: Lorene Whitley, and one great grandson Matt Clark.

His loving wife of 69 years: Charlotte Whitley Callahan

2 daughters: Connie Sprowles & husband Kenneth and Kathy Richardson & husband Maurice, both of Campbellsville 

1 son: Jimmie Callahan of Campbellsville

2 grandchildren: Carol Richerson & husband Bryan and Tracy Clark & husband John

3 great-grandchildren: Chase Richerson & wife Miranda, Zachery Richerson & fiancé Erica, and Luke Clark

3 great-great-grandchildren: Emelyn Richerson, Abigail Richerson, and Zander Richerson

1 brother: Rudolph Callahan of Louisville

Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Hicks officiating

Burial: Callahan Cemetery
