Rickey Lynn Oakes, 56, of Greensburg, KY, son of Margaret Oakes and the late Lyndell Oaks, was born on August 1, 1966 in Barren County, KY. He departed this life on Monday, November 14, 2022 in Greensburg.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a lumber grader.

3 daughters & sons-in-law: Twyla and Kyle Jessie, Mandy and Curtis DeWeese all of Edmonton, and Anna and Jeremy Fields of Tompkinsville

6 grandchildren: Hailey Jessie, Isaiah Jessie, Zackary Fields, Wyatt Fields, Aubrey DeWeese and Luna DeWeese
