Garland C-Wood Wright, 84, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late George William and Zelma (Moran) Wright, was born March 30, 1938 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Louisville at the Norton Hospital.

?Garland had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.? He enjoyed fishing, making children smile and laugh and was an avid UK fan, but always looked forward to his daily visits to McDonalds.

?Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Allyene (Bright) Wright; a sister and brother: Dorothy Elizabeth Judd and Homer Shively Wright; his step-mother, Lucille Sweeney Wright; and a step-brother, Jesse Peppers.

2 brothers: Fred Wright of Campbellsville and Jerry Wright & wife Jeanie of Bowling Green

4 sisters: Peggy Montgomery, Judy Reynolds & husband Jerald and Nancy Sue Newton all of Greensburg and Ruby Kay Jessie & husband Wayne of Hopkins County
