OBITS

Channie Darrell Osborne, 80, Campbellsville, KY

Channie Darrell Osborne, 80, of Campbellsville was born in Knifley on May 12, 1942 to the late Wildy and Jenny Mae Osborne. He departed this life on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Taylor Regional Hospital.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville First Church of God. Mr. Osborne spent 27 years at the Fruit of the Loom plant, only retiring at the plant’s closure. He loved to tinker with small engines and had a knack for bringing so-called “junk” back to life. On September 3, 1960, he united in marriage to the love of his life, Ms. Jane Arden Richerson, and they remained a devoted couple until his passing. His love and devotion for his family will be the keystone of every memory shared for many years.
