HAROLD JOHN WRIGHT, 78, FLORIDA (FORMERLY OF CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY)

 

Harold John Wright, 78, of Florida, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Harold John Wright and Emma Lou Snook Wright, was born July 1, 1944 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He died at 1:12pmET on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 in Florida after a brief illness. 

 

John professed faith in Christ and attended Immanuel Ministry Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorable in the United States Marine Corps as a Captain. John was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Rifle Marksmanship Badge and the Pistol Sharpshooter Badge. His work history included jobs such as: rancher, maintenance, tradesman and sales. John enjoyed photography and mission work.

 

SURVIVORS:

His wife of 23 years: Jen Dudgeon Wright of Ocala, Florida

2 daughters: Jackie Curioso & husband Don of Boston, Massachusetts and Michele Wright & special friend Casey Leonard

The mother of his daughters: Juanita Wright of Washington State

1 stepson: Tracy Gilbert of Campbellsville

3 grandsons: Jacob Gilbert, Christopher Curioso and Anthony Curioso

2 brothers: Mike Wright and Terry Wright & wife Verda of Colorado

4 sisters-in-law: Jane Dudgeon and Pat Sebastian of Campbellsville, KY, Lenn Beatty of Lancaster, KY and Dottie Wright of Colorado

Several nieces & nephews

Many other relatives & friends

 

John was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters: Dennis Wright, Jerry Wright, Barbara Jo Murphy, Brenda Sue Wright and Benita Wright.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 2pmET at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Bro. Phillip Trent, Sr.

 

BURIAL: Brookside Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard

 

VISITATION: Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 5pm-8pmET at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Colorado
