William Earl Milby, 77, was born August 14, 1945, in Green County, KY to the late Elsie Louise Foster Milby and William Creed Milby. He departed this life at his home in Summersville on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. 

He made a profession of faith in Christ and was of Cumberland Presbyterian faith.  He served his country proudly in the Army, during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion, Summersville Fire Department and VFW.

3 daughters: Stacy McNear & husband Marty, Brooke Benningfield & husband Ben, both of Campbellsville, KY and Kim Lobb of Greensburg, KY

1 sister & 1 brother: Renea Hancock & husband Claudie of Greensburg, KY and Stan Milby & wife Susan of Salisbury, North Carolina

3 grandchildren: Kaden McNear, Isabella Benningfield and Luke Benningfield

Funeral Service: Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10:00amCT at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Greg Whitlow, Bro. Robert Knight, & Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. 

Visitation: Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home and after 7:00amCT on Saturday

Interment: Green County Memory Gardens, Summersville, KY with full military honors by the Marion County Honor GuardFamily requests masks to be worn at the funeral home.

The family has suggested that expressions of sympathy be donations to  the Gideons for bibles or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and these can be made at the funeral home.
