Dorothy Dean (Underwood) Lawson, 87, of Campbellsville, KY was born in Taylor County on July 7, 1940 to the late William Thomas Underwood and Viola Allen Underwood and departed this life on Wednesday, October 27, 2022 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab.
Mrs. Lawson professed her faith in Christ and was of Holiness faith. She was a homemaker that loved to cook for her family and grandkids. She was a true believer in reading the Bible. Dorothy loved to read, loved her grandkids, loved to listen to bluegrass music/southern gospel, and loved flowers. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring grandmother.
Dorothy united in marriage to her husband, Bernard Lacy Lawson on June 9, 1956 and he preceded her in death in May 2005.

Son-in-law: David Burress of Campbellsville
13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild
FUNERAL: Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 11:00amET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville
BURIAL: Jones Chapel Cemetery
VISITATION: Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 6:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
