Jean (Eggers) Pyles, 94, of Somerset, KY, formerly of Taylor County, KY passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was born in Taylor County on August 28, 1928 to the late James and Sara Ann (Greer) Eggers. 
 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Pyles was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and GTE, and was a retired realtor with Associated Realty in Elizabethtown. 
 

She had united in marriage to Mr. Ernest Pyles on December 17, 1947. They remained a devoted couple until his passing on May 19, 2009. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Oscar Eggers, on December 28, 1984.

1 grandson: Jamie Pyles & wife Tamara of Georgetown

Burial: Beside her late husband in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens Cemetery
