Cordie Ellen “Sissy” Mardis Hedgespeth, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Herbert St.Clair and Naomi (Short) Mardis and stepdad Arle Mardis, was born October 11, 1941 in Greenville, Indiana and departed this life on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in Louisville at Jewish Hospital.

Sissy had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church. She was a former caregiver, healthcare worker, and homemaker.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Mardis.
