Mozella Kelly Poynter, 95, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Porter T. Kelly and Stella Mavis Acree Kelly, was born on November 28, 1926 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Green Hill Rehab and Care Center. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. She was also a retired machine operator for P. Sorensen Manufacturing Co. in Glasgow.

She united in marriage to Clyde Robert Poynter on June 2, 1951 who preceded her in death on January 30, 2013.

Great-nieces & great-nephews: Thomas & Becca Rayburn, Blake & Caylin Dudgeon, and Brooke Richerson all of Campbellsville, KY; Patrick & Oindrila VanMeter of Wisconsin; Justin & Faith VanMeter of Minnesota; and Isabella Beard & Hailey Beard of Tennessee

Step-niece: Andi and Jerrett Coppage of Campbellsville

Mrs. Poynter was also preceded in death by a brother, James Allen Kelly and a brother-in-law, Henry “Buddy” Beard.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 2:00pmCT at Fry Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Wisdom and Bro. Jared Ervin officiating.

Burial: Fry Cemetery 

Visitation: After 12:00pmCT on Saturday at Fry Baptist Church
