She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Maple Hill United Methodist Church where she was very active and was a member of the church choir. She was a retired machine operator for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. She loved her cows and farming, enjoyed cooking, gardening, but her family was her pride and joy.
She united in marriage to Garlin Heston “Tood” Meadows on February 26, 1954 who preceded her in death on January 18, 1996.

3 sisters & 2 brothers-in-law: Connie Patterson of Taylor County, KY, Peggy & Ken Curry of Green County, KY and Linda & Tommy Hall of Summersville, KY
1 brother: Loren Posey of Greensburg, KY

Burial: Maple Hill Cemetery in Green County
Visitation: Tuesday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and on Wednesday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
