MARGARET PHILLIPS MCDONALD, 101, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Margaret Phillips McDonald, 101, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Clarence Sheppard Phillips and Eliza Jane Woodrum Phillips, was born September 4, 1920 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 10:50 A.M., Monday, August 15, 2022 in Campbellsville.

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Margaret was a homemaker and pastor’s wife, always cooking, offering hospitality and taking care of others in need.

 

Margaret united in marriage to Dr. L. Rodford McDonald May 30, 1942 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2005. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers & 3 sisters: Wesley Phillips, Wallace Phillips, Sam E. Phillips, Myrtle Wise, Alta Stephens and Grace Wise.

Several nieces & nephews: Nancy Phillips Reathaford and Marilyn Phillips Saline and Ronnie Phillips & wife Jane of Galesburg, Illinois, Virginia Sue Stephens Bannon of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Allen Stephens & wife Anne of Carmel, Indiana, Melissa Phillips Cooper & husband Eric of Brownsburg, Indiana, Linda Wise Cunningham & husband Doug of Lexington and Cindy Wise McIntire & husband Terry of Houston, Texas
