Robert Dale Burton, Sr., 62, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Luther and Agnes Marie (DeHart) Burton, was born January 5, 1960 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at his home.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Maintenance for the post office, but most recently he was self-employed. Mr. Burton was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, grilling and helping others.

         
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Albert, Alford, Alvin and David Burton

3 children: Melissa Burton, Robert Burton, Jr., and Jerret Lee Burton all of Campbellsville

1 granddaughter: Cadence Burton of Campbellsville

3 brothers: Larry Michael Burton (Angie) of North Vernon, IN, Gregory Joseph Burton (Peggy) of Seymour, IN, James Allen Burton of Bedford, KY

2 sisters: Brenda Ann Burton Kirksey (Steve) of Paris TN and Ramona Sue Jackson of Campbellsville

Memorial Service: Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Bro. John Butler officiating
