AUDREY MAE REYNOLDS COWHERD, 94, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

Audrey Mae Reynolds Cowherd, 94, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Billie Reynolds and Willie Ada Caulk Reynolds, was born April 3, 1928 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 12:06 P.M., Tuesday, July 5, 2022 in Columbia, KY.

Audrey professed faith in Christ and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Charles Lee Cowherd November 24, 1944 and he preceded her in death August 13, 2013. Audrey loved her family, from her children and grandchildren, to siblings and nieces and nephews. She was married to her devoted husband of 69 years, whom she adored. She spoke often of her love for her parents and grandparents. Audrey loved children and believed each one was a precious gift from God. She loved having people around. Her door was always open to family, friends and even their friends. Audrey loved animals, especially dogs and cats and for a time, raised Maltese and Basenji dogs. She had also been an antique dealer and proprietor of Audrey’s Antiques. She modeled generosity, selflessness and loving one another all her life. More than anything, she loved Jesus and taught her family about His love and grace and the power of praise and prayer.
