William Henderson, 97, of Summersville, KY, son of the late Ben Henderson and Effie Scott Henderson, was born October 22, 1924 in Green County and departed this life on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Green Hill Rehab and Care Center.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a farmer. Mr. Henderson was also a WWII Veteran having served in the United States Army.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Annabelle Milby Henderson on April 21, 2020 having united in marriage on June 5, 1947.

2 sons & daughters-in-law: James “Buck” & Irene Henderson and Billy & Debbie Henderson of Summersville
1 sister-in-law: Peggy Whitlow of Summersville
A nephew: Mike Mitchell of Flatwoods, KY
10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Wilson Cemetery Fund, which can be made at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY who is in charge of the arrangements.
