JOHN MICHEAL MILBY, 32, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

John Micheal Milby, 32, of Campbellsville, KY passed from this life on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital as the result of an extended illness. He was born in Taylor County on July 26, 1989. 

 
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Milby was a construction and tree service employee. Known as a friend to many, he enjoyed all things outdoors, especially fishing and hunting turtles, and was an avid University of Louisville Cardinals fan.

3 children: C.J. Milby and Javion Milby of Campbellsville and Juli-Ann Milby of Russell Springs  
His mother & stepfather: Julie Marie (Rainwater) and Michael Kerns of Russell Springs
2 siblings: Dillan Kerns & wife Faith of Columbia and Shara Milby of Campbellsville    His step-mother: Kathy Milby
2 stepsisters: Sara Bostic and Jewell Jones
Grandparents: Johnnie & Sherri Rainwater of Campbellsville, Mike Milby, Sr. of Campbellsville and Donald & Juanita Kerns of Russell Springs
His godbrother: Trent Waymon
2 uncles: John Rainwater & wife Rhonda of California and James "Squirrell" Kerns & companion Kim Passmore of Russell Springs
Mothers of his children: Kendra Spurling, Brittany Gowdy Milby, and Shayla McAllister
A host of extended family members and friends
   
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael "Mike" Milby, Jr.; his grandmother, Theresa Milby; 1 uncle, Timothy Milby; and an aunt, Jill Rainwater.
 
Funeral Service: Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1:00pmET (12:00pmCT) at L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Steve Willis and Dillan Kerns officiating
 
Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens 
 
Visitation: After 10:00amET (9:00amCT) on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the funeral home
