Gary Lynn "Bones" Spurling, 78, of the Black Gnat Community of Taylor County, KY, the son of the late Omer and Dorothy (Glenn) Spurling, was born January 10, 1944 in Taylor County and departed this life on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his home.
He was a former school bus driver for the Taylor County Board of Education. Bones, as he was known mostly by enjoyed fishing, camping, trading a few antiques and was often seen on a vacant lot selling fresh produce, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends and his furry companion, Annie.

To honor the request of Mr. Spurling, cremation was entrusted to L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.
