CAROLYN MCMAHAN WOODS, 80, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY

 

Carolyn McMahan Woods, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Finis McMahan and Nona Hinton McMahan, was born September 27, 1941 in Green County, KY. She died at 4:45 A.M. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Campbellsville. 

 

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Carolyn was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and had been a manager of Pizza Hunt in Virginia for fifteen years.  She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and tried to never miss a reunion. She liked to dance and even her 80th birthday party was a lot of fun. Carolyn liked to do crafts in her free time and was known for making elaborate churches and houses and wedding cakes.

 

She united in marriage to William Woods and he preceded her in death February 10, 1999.

 

SURVIVORS:

2 daughters: Darla Owenby & husband Jack of Murphy, North Carolina and Saundra Toll & husband Bill of McCormick, South Carolina

5 grandchildren: Kenda Killion & husband Chris, Brandon Brown, Shannon Troutman & husband Kyle, Ashley Neyra & husband Zach, Christin Holtzclaw & husband Jordan

7 great-grandchildren: Kylie Killion, Kayden Troutman, Liam Troutman, Rylee Holtzclaw, Wyatt Neyra, Noah Neyra and Lexi Brown

2 sisters: Barbara Kerr Murphy and husband George of Campbellsville and Juanita Feamster and husband Allan of Newbury Park, California

Brother-in-law: Darrel Cox of Campbellsville

Several nieces & nephews

Many other relatives & friends

 

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister:  Randall McMahan and Rebecca Cox.
