Jerry Wayne “Hardhead” Muncie, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Lanous Muncie and Imogene Walker Muncie was born November 21, 1940 in Adair County, KY. He died at 11:45 P.M. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Jerry was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, having also served as a prison guard at LaGrange for three years. He was a member of the Pitman Mason Lodge #124 F & AM. Jerry was an avid fisherman, but was best known as a great husband, father, and papaw to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

His wife of 42 years: Faye White Muncie of Campbellsville

1 son & 1 daughter: Jeff Muncie & wife Lee Ann, and Cheryl Harmon of Campbellsville

2 grandchildren: Janis Megan Harmon and Jeffrey David Muncie & wife Lindsey of Campbellsville

3 great-grandchildren: Tatum Hoskins, Ava Muncie and Cale Muncie

1 sister: Carlotta Richardson & husband Jim of Lebanon

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Danny Muncie.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00amET at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Paul J. Dicken, Rev. Ryan Boatright and Phil Alan Bertram. Cremation was chosen following the Funeral Service.
