Shirley Marie Sloan, 77, was born February 3, 1945 in Floyd County, Indiana to the late Archie and Blanche Foster Knight. She departed this life Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at the Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab Center.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sloan and her son, James Sloan.

3 daughters: Dawn Lott & husband William of Booneville, North Carolina, Angela Conard & husband Shane of Waynesville, North Carolina and Kim Fields of Elizabethtown, KY 

1 sister: Mary Borders of Elizabethtown, KY

5 grandchildren: Marie Thomas, Michael Thomas, Rebekah Lott, Katherine Lott, and Averie Lott

4 great-grandchildren

Graveside Service: Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00pmCT at Maple Hill Cemetery in the Mell Community of Green County
