Bro. Irvin Milby, Jr., 85, of Greensburg, KY was born October 15, 1936 in Green County, KY to the late Irvin Milby Sr. and Mary Will Price Milby. He departed this life Monday, April 25, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of South Summersville Baptist Church. He pastored several churches and served under the Southern Baptist Convention for 57 years. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son in 1986, Tim Milby, and by 4 brothers & 3 sisters: Hugh, John, Ray and Leonard Milby, Margie Milby, Christine Bloyd and Mary Lois Despain.

His wife of 64 years: Lucille Vaughn Milby of Green County, KY

2 sons & daughters-in-law: Joe & Jessica Milby of Summersville, KY; Steve & Marilyn Milby of Frankfort, KY

6 grandchildren: Robert Milby, Thomas Milby & wife Mariah, and John Milby all of Roanoke, Virginia; Jameson, Jonah and Jaisey Milby all of Summersville, KY

Funeral Service: Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10:00amCT at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Milby, Bro. Odell Beauchamp, and Steve Milby officiating

Burial: Aetna Grove Cemetery

Visitation: Friday, April 29, 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and after 7:00amCT on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the funeral home

Pallbearers:  Robert Milby, Thomas Milby, John Milby, Lex Milby, David Smith, & Nick Fields

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy be donations to the Aetna Grove Cemetery Fund or to The Gideons Bible Fund and these can be made at the funeral home.
